For the word of God is living and active ... it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Reading the word sometimes is a task ... but we have many options! Online, hand held bibles, and of course the book itself. We also have many translations that can help us understand the scriptures! I encourage you to read different versions of the Bible and you will hopefully experience the word with a new and deeper understanding.
