Dear Friends:
Therefore let us leave the elementary teaching about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God.
Hebrews 6:1

I believe we are to grow and develop in our faith. It doesn't mean the foundational things stop happening! However, we must build a solid foundation to grow into the people God is calling us to be. Sadly, some times people just want to live on spiritual milk and not grow or develop any further! God has so much more for us than that and I want to encourage you to seek the deeper places with God.
