Daily Devotion

Dear Friends:
Exercise foresight and be on the watch to look [after one another], to see that no one falls back from and fails to secure God's grace (Gods unmerited favor and spiritual blessings), in order that no root of resentment (rancor, bitterness or hatred) shoots forth and causes trouble and bitter torment and the many become contaminated and defiled by it.

Immediately when you say the word exercise you realized effort must be put forth. It may not be easy to look after others and encourage them to come back to church or get involved. It is Gods desire for us that we share in the power of community! If you have been gone from church for awhile I invite you to come back ... Gods unmerited favor awaits you!
