"Dear Friends:
So teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom.
Psalm 90:12
A heart of wisdom comes through many ways. Turning from anger to joy, fear to faith, work and play. God give us your wisdom so we may better serve You by serving others.

And lead (bring) us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours in the dominion and the power and the glory forever, Amen.
Matthew 6:13 (amp)
As we go through difficult times it is good to remember that Gods power and glory surround us even if we don't recognize it at the time. If you are being tempted by something just remember God is with you; turn away from the temptation and lean, press, and run toward God!

"Dear Friends:
The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light.
Matthew 6:22
What is it that you focus on? Do you put focus on what you don't have? It is important to set Godly goals and the scripture text just after Matthew 6:22 tells us we can't serve two masters ... If you put God first you will attain every goal: spiritual, financial, and emotional.
Prayer: God teach us to set our sights on Your ways. Amen

"Dear Friends:
Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people).
Ephesians 5:15
There are situations in life that may cause us to side step or back up if we are not looking carefully. You have a purpose and you can do great things! I pray that you will not shy away from the calling and commitment you have been given. I pray for Gods wisdom to be poured out on your life with purpose!

"Dear Friends:
For physical training is of some value, but godliness (spiritual training) is useful and of value in everything and in every way for it holds promise for the present life and also for the life which is to come.
1 Timothy 4:8 (amp)
Sometimes negative self talk invades our space and our idea of being worthy goes out the window! Taking these negative thoughts and reversing them takes work but it is a great place to start. This is like any Spiritual practice it takes discipline. Today begin with I am worthy ... I love you God! And don't let anyone or anything invade that!

Behave yourselves wisely [living prudently and with discretion] in your relations with those of the outside world making the very most of the time and seizing up the opportunity.

Faithful is God Who is calling you {unto God} and utterly trustworthy, and God will also do it [fulfill Gods call by hallowing and keeping you].
1 Thessalonians 5:24
Faithfulness is something God calls us towards. Now we might get distracted and all that but God still calls us to be faithful. Faithfulness is difficult work especially in times of challenge and change! This is the very time when we can grow up spiritually by serving through our challenge instead of packing it up and going away. I encourage your faithfulness to your community of faith they need you and God has called you!

"Dear Friends:
Now the meaning of the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.
Luke 8:11
This is a great illustration how Gods word can work in our lives or not!
The seed or the word of God fell on the rocks, in the midst of thorns and into good soil. The seed that fell in good soil produced 100 fold, not that is a great return. So the question for us is what kind of soil are we? Do we allow the word to come in for a bit and when trouble comes we get uprooted? Do we take sprout but have no roots?
The great thing is we have the opportunity to change the yield in our life by planting Gods word.
