Daily Devotion

"Dear Friends:
But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.
Matthew 17:21

The disciples were having a hard time with the evil spirit and when Jesus came along he healed the boy. Jesus reminds them that prayer and fasting is needed to overcome this kind of adversity. And in the previous verse Jesus told them nothing will be impossible to you! When was the last time you had a prayer and fasting day? I encourage you to set aside some time to fast and pray it will help you get closer to God.
