"Friends:

For what does it profit anyone to gain the whole world, and forfeit their life [in the eternal kingdom of God]? For what can anyone give as an exchange (a compensation, a ransom, in return) for their [blessed] life [in the eternal kingdom of God]? (Mark 8:36-37 Amp)

How many times have you found yourself expending energy seeking materialistic possessions, position or power? Remember to keep in mind that whatever we accomplished on earth is temporary and not worthy of losing your soul. However, a life spent following Jesus allows us to live abundantly and have eternal life.
